Thinking of using this for my watermark stamp...
Been meaning to make one for ages now XD
It's already a stamp in my photoshop. Just need to test using it on a piece of work sometime I guess XD;
It was a lot more plain initially... but it ended up like this XD;
made a completely different one with my name in it... but I hate it XD; so I might stick with this. Iunno.
does it defeat the purpose if my name's not in it?

x'D! I don't think it defeats the purpose entirely, depending on what you want to use it for. If you want it so that people who stumble across the image from another site will find your dA through it, then yep, you would need your name on there somewhere. If you just plan on using it as evidence that it's stolen, then a mark is just fine.
You could always use the watermark somewhere on the image that would be difficult to edit and then have your name in smaller readable text near the border of the image?
