Yes I cam working on class assignments. But with having two weeks or so of being unable to draw, then shitty weather that reminds me of how shitty it is to have arthritis in my hands and knees... well I need something to warm-up and practice on, as well as to distract with that doesn't have the same pressure as classes. I also have just been drawing Draco for like five years so he's easier to draw than Sefem at this point.
Got permission from Tanis to draw Lendys and use this scenerio. Wasn't exactly sure how to go about having Draco greet Len, how she'd react, or how she'd react to receiving a gift (too bad it won't help). This was suppose to be so much shorter, maybe even an illust but...
instead it turned into this. Whatever it is.
And yeah, wasn't suppose to have speech bubbles. Wanted to try for a textless comic, but I seem to have the ingrained habit of making room for speech bubbles from the planning stages so that happened. put in a few to take up the blank space, didn't bother with the last one but yeah XD;
Well... Lendys has been plagued with nightmares whenever she tries to sleep. I'm p sure this means she's not getting much sleep! Thus the tired look.
Draco's dropping by because he's still working for Sefem and it's easier to deal with things face to face as Sefem isn't so great with letters or English/Tradespeak yet.
He notices Lendys and wants to say hi, notices she seems really tired. He knows what it's like being unable to get quality sleep. Reisei told him about some herbs she gave him before and how they give you a dreamless sleep. He decides to give some to Lendys before heading back to what he was doing. Unfortunately because Lendys nightmares are caused by magic the herbs won't help. But at least he tried XD;
It is also super weird to see Draco so "happy". He generally has a really irritated or "are you kidding me" expression. He tends to have a sour mood especially when he's around the Academy. Seems his opinions towards Lendys and how much he respects her can perk up his mood dramatically in ways Rei hasn't for years XD;
