Contest Entry for 
winter AU contest~
took me a long time to figure out something for it.
Took me even longer to try find a way to draw what I thought of XD;
This isn't how I initially imagined it. but my full idea would take a LONG time to draw XD;
the deadline was coming up too fast so I ended up with this.

It's a pkmn crossover AU... because you know my obsession with pkmn is pretty bad XD;
[FYI they're suppose to be near Snowpoint City in Sinnoh]
Why Growlithe and Salamance though?
Well that's because of the Pokémon antrho's of them I made as part of an AT with someone before |D
I think Growlithe best suits Joey, and Salamace best suit's Seto.

Snow effect with 3 layers [seperate for Seto and Jou's side] of little white specks dotted onto the canvas, then motion blurring the seperate layers in sections selected with the lasso tool. There is also a black and white gradient layer set to multiply over it.
Trying to figure out colour placement for their outfits was a bit challenging. I had the most trouble trying to decide on accessory colours for Jou. I tend to associate green jackets with him. Wanted to incorporate black and red into his design... for obvious reasons...?
ha ha Seto's design was a bit troublesome too. I had no idea what to give him really. so I just drew the first things that came to mind.
Somehow I couldn't see either of them wearing hats?
So Jou ended up with a headband and Seto's got nothing XD;
gave them both scarves and gloves. Seto's are white, but I'm not sure if that's clear or not. he's also got a white scarf |D his jacket is a light blue with a black shirt underneath.
I have no idea what colour Jou's shirt is, you can't see it anyway.
Poses was the most difficult thing though. I had no idea how to pose them or set them up in the same image XD; one of the reasons it took me the longest to start this project...
But at least it's done now!
